1) Seeing or even hearing about broken condoms/condoms lying around in toilets is very very very squicky and gross.
2) Everyone's favourite word is 'sketchy', which has been used to the point that I think its actually rubbed off on me.
3) People are abnormally nice and generous, to the point that I feel going back to Singapore might be like going back to a very cold sad place. (But of course once I see Christine's face, all will be made better)
4) When in doubt about how one should dance to the live rock music being played, just dance from side to side like an idiot who hasn't had 11 years of dance training.
5) Unlike in Singapore, where when guys pick you up at parties and you exchange a wordless rejection which involves you waving your hands about like an idiot, in Amherst, you just realize you can't hear anything the guys are saying and eventually they'll think you're totally stupid because you're giving the wrong answers to their misheard questions, or just not replying at all.
6) Sleeping on floors can make you nostalgic for other floors, if you're the sort of vagrant freeloader who has inhabited several floors in your short life.
7) Athletes aren't irritating, self-absorbed, mindless twits who think they're incredibly good-looking.
8) Watching Juliet and Ben fighting is like watching tv. But better. I promise, I have a video to prove it.
9) People are just so nice. I mentioned that already, but I felt it was necessary to repeat the fact.
