Assuming no one actually bothered to read the epic post below, here's a little bit of information : I'm going to Vietnam till the 15th. The flight is amazingly short, thus sparing me the pain and discomfort of the long haul flights I'm used to. However, it also means I'll have nothing no movies to watch, so I guess I should buy a magazine or something to read on the plane, since I don't like to read my novels anywhere but in my bed. Tablegang darlings! See you when I get back! Remember, ocean's twelve with little ol' meeeee when we get back. And big dinner! Or lunch! I'm so excited.
Also, since my parents and friends apparently see no point in learning about Vietnamese culture or history, we will be spending the 5 days shopping and eating. If I cannot learn anything, I guess I'll suffice for many pairs of linen pants and laquered items in all shapes and sizes. I am always a bit disturbed by this sort of tourism, but oh well. Out of the country again for the first time in 9 months. I suppose I should welcome it.
