Letter From America

Hello children! I'm about 5000 miles away from most of you, or if you are Juliet/Kim, maybe a couple of hours by plane away from you. I just finished my first day of skiing and really just WANT TO DIE because I am so exhausted. I did however buy ski boots (which I'm certain will not be heavy AT ALL to lug home, on top of the piles of clothing I have purchased to add to my ever stuffed wardrobe) and a ski jacket today. My time in San Fran was spent eating 1500 calorie (Literally!!!) dinners and shopping. San Francisco, how I love thee. San Franciscan restaurants, how awesome are you. Union Square, how .. square and beautiful art thou, as bordered by capitalist paradises as you are. Alright, I'll quit with the paean to San Francisco.

Utah is rather fun, although the diversity, I'd say, is worlds apart from San Fran ... obviously. I've seen about 5 Asians here whereas in SF I saw tons of different people. I really do want to die, though. I'm so tired and I keep watching Conan O Brien interview Sin City stars and wish Jessica Alba's hair wasn't so blonde, she was much prettier when she looked less whitewashed. OH and HEY I got my first acceptance! I GOT INTO VASSAR LALALALALA.

Also, I've basically concluded that all the world's good looking people live in ski villages.

Cheers,
Bev
