Hoping For Happiness Is ....

1) Finding people to talk to online so that the 10 hour work day passes fairly unnoticed
2) The new Nylon with my favourite teen actress who listens to good music, reads good books and isn't a complete dimbulb, Evan Rachel Wood, on the cover.
3) A Mexican dinner with Christine. Simple chatter, excellent company and plans for more dinners, salary/allowance withstanding = therapy and joy
4) Discovering Christine and I have a shared fondness for the little known Jonathan Tucker (I think I want to marry someone that looks like him) , who is featured in the March Nylon as well.
5) Buying a new gold dress, courtesy of the money I do not have (or, the money I'm supposed to pay for piano lessons with) It's satin with little embellishments, and fits nicely. One more to add to the brimming collection!
6) Wearing my new girl boxer shorts with weird surfers on it
7) Relaxing with yoga instructed by the oddly calming Patricia Walden on my dvd
8) Watching American Splendor, the loveliest little film, which made me dig through my cupboard for my Ghost World and Nate Powell comics at 1 in the morning, energized by sudden comic book fandom
9) Being driven to dinner by a nice, handsome man. (Laughlaugh)
