Being home is always such an odd contrast to being anywhere else.

In school, when I am not microwaving Stouffer's Lasagna, consuming several packets of seaweed from A-Dong, analyzing Barrett Browning in vain, I am waltzing into Vidya's room ready to bop around to some amazing pop song, blowing bubbles with Lindsey, begging Moutihno for ice pops, laughing at Jared's inappropriateness, shaking my head at the constant DOTA playing that goes on around me, or chastizing Mirksy for being dirty.

On vacation, I am constantly in search of caprese salad and Fanta, looking for something old and beautiful and architectural to marvel at, taking pictures of plazas that appeared in Before Sunrise, reading underground maps, spending countless hours talking about things with Juliet, melting from the heat and exhaustion, buying frilly yellow aprons or seeking respite in the shelter of a lovely Slovakian cafe.

At home I spend the majority of my time watching tv shows online and avoiding my miserable parents at all costs. The end. I try to think of all the wonderful things I've seen, the conversations I've had, and the good things in my life to pass the time. I am simply waiting for work to start so that I can get out of the house and be far away from all the things that bring me down.
