Pretty Pictures

I was avoiding reading today, and came across this lovely picture by Shira Sela. It reminded me that Valentine's Day doesn't necessarily have to be about affirming romance with overpriced roses, shoddy wine and burnt steak, nor does it have to be about proudly denying it, in the case of my housemates (who have decided to have a party on Valentine's Day that is resolutely unromantic) ... but it can be about mending brokenness and patching together other relationships.

Or, of course, it could just be an excuse for me to revel in all things heart-printed and heart-related.
